Week 15 Match Review: Tottenham 3 - Chelsea 4
For every reaction - Cucurella slipping - there is an equal and opposite reaction - Palmer’s penalty brace. The offense and midfield looked elite, the defense was a huge question mark, and Bob Sanchez remains a liability. Let’s just play Spurs every week.

Week 12 Match Review: Leicester 1 - Chelsea 2
Jackson and Enzo score, Palmer and Madueke hug it out after a bit of miscommunication, and Badiashile returns from witness protection in fine form. 12 games into the season and, dare I say, things feel… good?

Week 11 Match Review: Chelsea 1 - Arsenal 1
Neto, Caicedo, and Cucurella shine, Palmer all but disappears, and Robert Sanchez does what only he can do. Another London derby, another point for the Blues. And don’t look now, but 11 games into the season, Chelsea sits in third.

Week 9 Match Review: Chelsea 2 - Newcastle 1
Chelsea gets the points, everyone stays health and… what is there to say other than, “Damn, Cole Palmer is very good at football!”

Week 8 Match Review: Liverpool 2 - Chelsea 1
Whoever picked Curtis Jones as the boogieman for this top-four clash, good on you. Nicolas Jackson showed he’s a new man, Cole Palmer took a nap, and Levi Colwill bent until he broke (luckily not literally in this case). But somehow, this felt like a slight victory rather than a massive defeat.

Week 7 Match Review: Chelsea 1 - Nottingham Forest 1
Noni Madueke was the most explosive part of an otherwise even match... until Sideshow Marc and Nico Williams attempted to get an 87th-minute melee going. Another week, another point – and a happy international break to all who celebrate.

Week 4 Match Review: Bournemouth 0 - Chelsea 1
Sancho shines, Sanchez saves, and Nkunku makes it look easy – all in an afternoon's work on the south coast against Bournemouth. Seriously though, is Reece James coming back soon?

Week 3 Match Review: Chelsea 1 - Crystal Palace 1
Jackson heats up, Palmer returns to sub-zero temps, and Dean Henderson reminds the league why he still might be the guy everyone hoped he'd be. Another classic tease against Palace, surprise surprise.

Week 2 Match Review: Wolves 2 - Chelsea 6
Oh what a difference a week – and playing Wolves rather than City – can make. Madueke became the three-pointed thorn in the entire city of Wolverhampton’s side, Cold Palmer has returned, and the defense still looks like a work in progress.
